Christine & Joe

Meet Christine and Joe!! Now these two were just absolutely hilarious! Every second of the day they were either laughing or having little bouts of "banter" back and forth. At one point Joe was talking so much that we actually had to tell him to keep his mouth a bit more {still} for the next set of shots so it wasn't open or sideways in all the photos. I pick on him, but he was really awesome - they both were!! I always like to ask my couples how they met each other and then how the big proposal went. These stories are ones for the memory books ;) I first asked "How did you meet?" And Christine replied, "Ask Joe, lets see how he tells it." So I asked Joe and his response was priceless: "Well, we went to middle school together but she was the cool and popular girl and didn't like me because I wasn't popular enough....but then fast forward to high school when I got hot....then she was all about me!" I find out that the story is about 75% true but I love it 100% !! Then I asked, "What did you do for your proposal?" Again Christine replied, "Joe tells this story really well." So Joe jumps in: "Well first we went to dinner at this restaurant, which was okay, but that's not where I proposed so it didn't really matter. Then we went to the beach in Tarpon Springs and we were watching the sunset. I knew I was about to propose {Christine says: I knew he was about to propose!!} so I said to her, Christine I really want to propose to you but it smells like poop right here {as they stood at the waterfront!!}" He then asked her to turn around, fished the ring box out of his belongings, and got down on one knee {in the poop smelling sand!} and asked her to turn around. She, of course, said yes and the rest is history!! Definitely my favorite story to date. And I loved shooting them too! A great couple and a great evening. I can't wait to photograph your wedding next Spring!
