Lange Farm Wedding | Dade City, Florida | M & C
/Congratulations to Mallory and Chris who got married last weekend at gorgeous Lange Farm in Dade City, FL! It was one of the coolest nights of the year so far {I was actually cold and contemplating a jacket outside at the reception} but it was a welcomed change from sweating and feeling faint from the extreme heat! I have been to weddings at Lange Farm but this was my first time actually photographing a wedding there and I was so excited! The rolling hills, tall oak trees, adorable barn, and {mostly} nice horses make for one heck of a venue! Mallory and Chris fit right in here as Mallory and her girls all wore their cowgirl boots, and Chris and his guys....well....they took advantage of the venue being vast, yet secluded, as you'll see in a photo below! ;) This wedding was full of love and tradition and I just love witnessing the different ideas and passed down customs from one generation to the next. At the reception we were all surprised with a "Livernios ritual" as Chris was shackled with a ball and chain with the names of all married couples in the family year after year dating back 40 years! Chris was taunted by all the men in the family, Mallory and Chris had a dance with it attached to his ankle, then she "had the option" to take it off or leave it on. She took it off :) It was fun watching these two families come together as one and I'm so glad to have been a part of this special day!
