Shabby Chic Barn at Saxon Manor Wedding | Brooksville, Florida | C & J

Congratulations to Christine and Joe who got married this spring at The Shabby Chic Barn in Brooksville, Florida! I just adore these two - they are perfectly made for each other and perfectly in love. When I made their engagement blog I wrote about how hilarious and adorable they both were, and the same holds true for what I experienced on their wedding day. Although Joe did learn how to not talk so much during photos {haha, sorry Joe}, not much else was different! They laughed and loved and embraced each other with ease. I love photographing couples who have such an undeniable love for each other! What made this wedding really special to me was how their Pastor spoke to them and about them during the ceremony. Every statement, including their vows they wrote to one another, highlighted how important it was to love each other like God loves them. It touched my heart to witness Christine and Joe give each other communion at an outdoor wedding; although they decided to be wed under the oak trees instead of inside a church, they still included so much of their faith and commitment to a God-centered marriage into their special day. In addition to communion, the couple shared one other thing with each other during their ceremony: a tissue! As Joe spoke his written words to Christine she pulled out a tissue to wipe away her tears then proceeded to and the tissue over to Joe to wipe his as she spoke her written words back to him. It was all I could do to hold myself together! I truly am blessed to have met both of you guys and I am once again honored to have been witness to such a beautiful day.
